Getting involved with other students will enhance your academic experience and make you more successful in all aspects of your life. By completing your UNL degree as a distance student, you may be eligible for membership in an honor society or other national student organzation(s). Distance students may also be able to create student organizations of their own.
Participation in the Online Student Community in My.UNL (Blackboard) is encouraged. This community provides the opportunity to interact with other online learners outside of the classroom.
FBLA is one of the oldest national business organizations. You can join their virtual chapter and gain leadership and communication skills while networking with colleagues.
This national honor society provides the non-traditional student the opportunity to be recognized for their achievements. For an application and more information, please visit the Pinnacle website.
