About Extended Education & Outreach
The Office of Extended Education & Outreach (EE&O) is the online and distance education arm of the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. We develop, deliver and support quality study programs and educational opportunities as part of the University’s land grant mission. Our Instructional Design team works with UNL faculty to turn popular on-campus courses into high-quality distance learning experiences for students on campus and around the world. EE&O offers courses or programs on the high school, undergraduate and graduate level. |
EE&O was established in October of 1997 to help all academic colleges provide lifelong learning as a core mission for the University of Nebraska, though distance education has been an integral part of UNL for over 90 years. |
