Two University of Nebraska–Lincoln faculty were recently honored with Great Plains Interactive Distance Education Alliance Awards.

Richard Bischoff2013 Great IDEA Award
The Great IDEA Awards recognize best practices and innovative contributions by constituents of Great Plains IDEA. The 2013 Great IDEA Award winner from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln is Rich Bischoff, Department Chair in Child, Youth & Family Studies (CYAF).

Marjorie Kostelnik2013 Friend of Great Plains IDEA Award
The purpose of the Great Plains IDEA "Friends" Award is to honor individuals who have provided a significant contribution to the development and/or operation of the Great Plains IDEA. UNL College of Education & Human Sciences Dean, Marjorie Kostelnik, was recognized as one of the 2013 Friends of Great Plains IDEA.
